TRADITIONAL STUDENT CONFERENCE — PRESETT DAY

On May 6, 2026, the PRESETT DAY student conference, organized by the Department of Integrated English Course No. 2 of the Second English Faculty at the Uzbekistan State World Languages University, was successfully held.

The scientific and practical event, which took place in Hall 201, served as an important platform for students to demonstrate their knowledge and skills, explore modern educational approaches, and exchange experiences.

The conference featured the following key sessions:

• “From Classroom Projects to Real-Life Skills: The Power of Project-Based Learning”
— Guest speaker: Professor Marie Harbon-Gruchelska

• “Applying for MA TESOL and MA EDIN Programs: Requirements, Preparation, and Success Strategies”
— Guest speaker: Sanjar Djalalov (MA TESOL Program Leader)
— Bakhtiyor Akhmedov (Head of Admissions Office, Webster University)

In addition, the program included:
• plenary sessions;
• interactive skill stations (grammar, vocabulary, creativity);
• student challenges and competitions;
• a literature quiz and stage performances.

Throughout the event, students had the opportunity to demonstrate their academic and creative potential, exchange ideas, and gain new experiences.
