2026-07-27 01-07 Turkish Language and Translation Center Established at UzSWLU with the Support of TİKA
The agreements reached during the meeting held on January 14 of this year between Uzbekistan State World Languages University (UzSWLU) and the Project Coordinator of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) have now been successfully implemented. During the meeting, the parties discussed the establishment of a Turkish Language and Translation Center and a Simultaneous Interpretation Laboratory at the Faculty of Translation with the financial support of TİKA.
As part of the project, the Turkish Language and Translation Center has officially commenced its activities at the Faculty of Translation. With the sponsorship of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA), four modern classrooms have been fully equipped for the university.
Under the project, the classrooms have been furnished with modern student desks, cushioned chairs, a large interactive display (smart board), a mobile stand for the interactive display, a teacher’s desk, split-type air conditioning systems, CCTV surveillance cameras, and a modern LED lighting system.
This project represents another tangible outcome of the effective cooperation between Uzbekistan State World Languages University and TİKA, providing a solid foundation for the continued development of joint educational initiatives in the future.
