Memorandums of Cooperation Signed Between Universities of Turkey and Uzbekistan

On April 14, 2026, within the framework of the program “From the Traces of Ancient Words: Exchange of Specialists in General Language and Literature,” a delegation from the Uzbekistan State World Languages University held a meeting with the Rector of Kahramanmaraş Sütçü İmam University, Professor İbrahim Taner Okumuş.

During the meeting, prospects for the development of bilateral cooperation were discussed, and memorandums aimed at strengthening mutual understanding and enhancing relations were signed.

Throughout the day, participants took part in roundtable discussions, exchanging experiences in the fields of educational processes, language teaching methodology, and scientific research.

In addition, during the visit, the delegation met with the Governor of Kahramanmaraş Province, Mükerrem Ünlüer. The meeting emphasized the importance of further strengthening cultural and educational ties between the two countries.

This international project plays an important role in developing scientific, educational, and cultural cooperation between Turkey and Uzbekistan, as well as in expanding mutual exchange of experience.
