Uzbekistan State World Languages University Awarded “Best Model Partner Organization” Nomination by KOICA
A meeting of KOICA partner organizations for 2026 was held at the InterContinental Hotel in Tashkent. The event aimed to further strengthen cooperation between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Korea, review the outcomes of ongoing joint projects, and discuss future areas of collaboration.

Representing Uzbekistan State World Languages University, Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation Otabek Yusupov, Dean of the Faculty of Oriental Philology Dilshod Jurayev, and lecturer of the Department of Korean Philology Ilkhomjon Rajiboyev participated in the event.
Opening the meeting, KOICA Representative Office Director in Uzbekistan, Shin Myung Seop, expressed gratitude to long-standing partner institutions and emphasized the importance of cooperation in education, science, and human resource development between the two countries.
During the meeting, Uzbekistan State World Languages University was awarded the “Best Model Partner Organization” nomination for its effective cooperation with KOICA, active participation in joint educational projects, and successful implementation of mutually beneficial initiatives. This high recognition reflects the university’s consistent efforts in advancing international cooperation and its achieved results.

In addition, Ilkhomjon Rajiboyev presented an annual report on projects implemented within the KOICA partnership, as well as outcomes of the volunteer program for 2024–2026. The presentation highlighted implemented initiatives, contributions to the educational process, and future plans.
