Uzbekistan State World Languages University Awarded “Best Organizer” at the International Competition “Poetry Connects the World”

Students of Uzbekistan State World Languages University actively participated in the global short video competition of Chinese poetry titled “Poetry Connects the World” (诗约四海 — Poetry Connects the World) and achieved remarkable results.

The international competition was organized to promote the Chinese language and culture, foster intercultural communication among youth, and strengthen friendship and cooperation between nations through classical Chinese poetry.

Within the framework of the competition, participants submitted creative video works based on the themes “Sky,” “Human,” “Mountain,” and “Water,” reflecting Chinese poetry, landscapes of Tashkent, student life, and cultural ties between Uzbekistan and China.

The competition was organized by the Center for Language Education and Cooperation (CLEC), with more than 700 creative submissions from 93 countries worldwide. Winners were selected based on jury evaluation and online voting results.

According to the final results, 20 educational institutions worldwide were awarded the “优秀组织奖” (“Best Organizer”) title. Among the recipients of this prestigious recognition, Uzbekistan State World Languages University proudly took its rightful place.

This achievement is a practical result of the university’s ongoing efforts to improve the quality of Chinese language education, promote Chinese culture, and develop educational and cultural cooperation between Uzbekistan and China.
