Uzbekistan State World Languages University Holds Production Meeting Dedicated to the Implementation of Presidential Address and Ministerial Instructions

Today, a production meeting was held at Uzbekistan State World Languages University under the chairmanship of Rector Ilkhomjon Tuxtasinov. The meeting was dedicated to the implementation of the Ministry’s instructions and the priority tasks outlined in the speech of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. In particular, the agenda included the effective organization of the 2026/2027 admission process, prevention of corruption, enhancing the social reputation of academic staff, developing media projects aimed at promoting achievements in education and science, and strengthening the effectiveness of information policy.

 

 

During the meeting, special attention was paid to the President’s focus on education, human resource development, and human capital enhancement. It was noted that key priorities include aligning the education system with the modern needs of the economy, equipping young people with new professions and competencies, developing vocational education, expanding digital learning opportunities, and strengthening international cooperation.

Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs M. Chutpulatov highlighted the responsibility of higher education institutions in ensuring the implementation of presidential and ministerial directives, improving education quality, preparing students for modern labor market requirements, and aligning university activities with labor market needs.

University Press Secretary and Advisor to the Rector on Information Policy Otabek Ibragimov presented an action plan aimed at ensuring the implementation of ministerial tasks. The plan includes transparent coverage of the admission process, prevention of corruption, promotion of achievements of faculty and students, popularization of scientific and innovative activities, strengthening cooperation with media outlets and bloggers, and introducing artificial intelligence technologies into information services.

 

 

Head of the Compliance Control and Anti-Corruption Department Bahodir Hoshimov provided information on preventing corruption, strengthening transparency and openness, and improving the effectiveness of handling public appeals.

At the conclusion of the meeting, relevant officials were instructed to ensure timely and high-quality implementation of assigned tasks, transparency in the admission process, enhanced effectiveness of information policy, and systematic strengthening of anti-corruption measures.
