Uzbekistan State World Languages University Participates in THE Global Sustainable Development Congress

On June 16, 2025, the THE Global Sustainable Development Congress, organized by the prestigious international ranking agency Times Higher Education (THE), officially began in Istanbul, Turkey. Representatives of Uzbekistan State World Languages University — Head of the International Rankings Department B. Nishanaliyev and Chief Specialist F. Sultonov — are participating in the global event.

The congress brings together higher education institutions from around the world to discuss the role of education, science, and innovation in achieving sustainable development goals, while also highlighting academic collaboration and the social responsibility of universities. The event features various sessions, panel discussions, expert talks, and international partnership meetings.

Within the framework of the congress, USWLU representatives held productive negotiations with leading foreign universities, particularly from Asia and Europe, to establish international cooperation, implement joint research projects, and expand academic exchange programs. They also received valuable recommendations on strengthening the university’s position in global rankings through direct communication with THE experts.
