Uzbekistan’s National Heritage Was Widely Presented During the Cultural-Educational Event
The event featured presentations of Uzbekistan’s historical figures, customs, national costumes, and handicrafts. Traditional music and dances performed to the sounds of folk instruments gave the event a unique spirit.
Notably, the delegation treated the guests to Uzbekistan’s national dish — plov, prepared by the representatives themselves. The aroma, flavor, and presentation of the dish left a lasting impression on the Argentine guests.
Representatives of the University of Buenos Aires highly appreciated the visit and the event, emphasizing the importance of holding such cultural initiatives on a regular basis.
The event also served to promote Uzbekistan’s rich heritage on an international level ahead of the 43rd Session of the UNESCO General Assembly, which will be held in Samarkand in 2025.
