Within the framework of the Third Forum of Rectors of Higher Education Institutions of Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, the Rector of the Uzbekistan State World Languages University, I. Tuxtasinov, held negotiations with the heads of several higher education institutions of this country on issues of mutual cooperation.

The main focus was placed on developing cooperation in the areas of student and faculty exchange, implementation of scientific, practical, and innovative projects, as well as attracting Tajik students to study at UzSWLU.

As a result of the meetings, cooperation agreements were signed with the International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship of Tajikistan (Dangara International Institute), the Tajik State Pedagogical University, the Kulob and Dangara State Universities, as well as the Tajik State University of Law, Business and Politics. A memorandum of understanding was signed with the Tajik-Russian (Slavic) University. Both sides expressed their readiness to implement specific activities and projects based on the agreements reached.

After that, the participants took part in the closing ceremony of the forum and exchanged views on the provisions of the resolution adopted following the conference. Thus, the forum concluded its work.
