2026-07-03 11-36 UzSWLU Holds Meeting with Delegation from Beijing Foreign Studies University
On 2 July, Uzbekistan State World Languages University (UzSWLU) held an official meeting with a delegation from Beijing Foreign Studies University (BFSU).
The delegation included Vice President of the Chinese Society of Education and BFSU Professor Dinghua Wang, Dean of the School of Education Dayong Yuan, and Associate Professor Xiaodong Wang. The guests were received by UzSWLU Rector Ilkhomjon Tukhtasinov and the university leadership.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed prospects for further developing cooperation between the two higher education institutions. Particular attention was given to organizing student and faculty exchange programs, sharing textbooks and teaching materials, and jointly developing educational resources.
They also explored opportunities for joint professional development courses for foreign language teachers, expanding scientific research cooperation, publishing articles in international academic journals, organizing and participating in international conferences, and implementing double degree programs.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both parties outlined future plans aimed at elevating mutually beneficial cooperation to a new level and strengthening academic and scientific ties.
