2026-07-03 11-33 UzSWLU Holds the Opening Ceremony of the “Otpolosi Club”
On 2 July, Uzbekistan State World Languages University (UzSWLU) held the grand opening ceremony of its “Otpolosi Club” as part of the events organized in celebration of Youth Day.
The ceremony was opened by UzSWLU Rector Ilkhomjon Tukhtasinov, who emphasized the importance of such initiatives in promoting sports among young people, encouraging a healthy lifestyle, and strengthening the spirit of patriotism.
The event also featured a speech by Argentine polo specialist Spillmann Joaquin, representing the Uzbekistan Polo Federation. He spoke about the history of polo, its current stage of development, and the opportunities being created for young people to engage in the sport.
The program included an open dialogue and question-and-answer session, during which participants exchanged ideas on developing polo and promoting the sport among university students.
The event marked another significant step toward strengthening sports culture at Uzbekistan State World Languages University, providing meaningful extracurricular opportunities for students, and expanding international cooperation in the field of sports.
