UzSWLU Leadership Inspects New Student Dormitory Construction Site

On August 23, 2025, the Rector of Uzbekistan State World Languages University (UzSWLU), Ilhomjon Tuxtasinov, together with members of the university leadership, visited the construction site of a new student dormitory located at 4 Zakovat Street, Tashkent.

During the visit, officials provided information on the current state of construction, the sequence of work being carried out according to the project, and compliance with technical standards. The Rector and leadership members paid special attention to the quality of construction, engineering communications, energy efficiency, internal infrastructure, and safety measures.

Ilhomjon Tuxtasinov spoke with the construction workers and gave recommendations regarding the conditions being created for students — the capacity of dorm rooms, study and leisure areas, and compliance with sanitary and hygiene standards.

The leadership also instructed responsible parties to complete the construction with high quality, on time, and to the required standards. It was emphasized that the new dormitory should provide comfortable conditions for students to live, study, and spend their free time meaningfully.
