2026-08-06 12-21 UzSWLU Professors and Lecturers Participate in an International Professional Development Programme in the United Kingdom
Professors and lecturers of the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages are participating in an international professional development programme organized by the university’s partner institution — NILE (Norwich Institute for Language Education), located in Norwich, the United Kingdom.
The programme, which runs from 31 July to 26 August 2026, is aimed at exploring modern methods of English language teaching, introducing innovative pedagogical technologies into the educational process, applying advanced international practices, and enhancing the professional and academic-pedagogical capacity of university faculty members.
Within the framework of the programme, participants are taking part in theoretical and practical sessions on English language teaching methodology, modern educational approaches, the use of innovative technologies in teaching, and the practical application of international experience. The programme also includes professional discussions and experience-sharing sessions with international experts.
During this international professional development programme, special attention is being paid to studying advanced foreign practices, exchanging expertise with international specialists, and implementing effective approaches in the educational process.
