UzSWLU Rector Ilkhomjon Tukhtasinov Congratulated Hiromu Yamagishi on Obtaining the State CEFR Certificate
Today, a meeting was held at Uzbekistan State World Languages University between the Rector of the University, Professor Ilkhomjon Tukhtasinov, and Hiromu Yamagishi, a lecturer at the Department of Japanese Philology and a specialist from Japan.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Rector warmly congratulated Hiromu Yamagishi on successfully obtaining the state CEFR certificate confirming his proficiency in the Uzbek language. He emphasized that this achievement is a vivid reflection of Mr. Yamagishi’s deep respect for the Uzbek language, national values, and culture. The Rector also wished him continued success in his academic and pedagogical activities and extended his best wishes on behalf of the university community.
During the conversation, Hiromu Yamagishi’s contributions to the university, active participation in the educational process, and consistent efforts to learn the Uzbek language were highly praised. It was noted that for the past three years he has been working effectively at the Department of Japanese Philology of UzSWLU, teaching Japanese language courses while actively using Uzbek in classroom instruction. His achievement in obtaining the state CEFR certificate serves as an inspiring example for other foreign specialists striving to master the state language.
The participants emphasized that this accomplishment is significant not only for the university community but also for the national education system as a whole. In particular, Hiromu Yamagishi’s success was recognized by the Agency for Assessment of Knowledge and Qualifications, which highlighted his achievements on its official information platforms as a foreign specialist actively promoting the Uzbek language.
The parties also exchanged views on further strengthening educational cooperation between Uzbekistan and Japan, improving the quality of Japanese language instruction, expanding academic exchange programs, and implementing future joint projects. Rector Ilkhomjon Tukhtasinov stressed the important role of foreign specialists in strengthening the university’s international relations and expressed his continued support for Hiromu Yamagishi’s initiatives in this area.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Hiromu Yamagishi was once again warmly congratulated and wished good health, new achievements in his academic and teaching career, and great success in promoting educational cooperation and friendship between Uzbekistan and Japan.
