Currently, UzSWLU Rector Ilkhomjon Tukhtasinov is in Germany on a duty trip.

On May 21, he visited Magdeburg-Stendal University. The head of UzSWLU was welcomed by representatives of the university's management.

A bilateral meeting was organized, attended by Ms. Schwarz, Rector of Magdeburg-Stendal University, Mr. Karsten Behrend, the Erasmus Project Coordinator, and Ms. Krumm, the Head of the International Department.

At the beginning of the meeting, Rector Ilkhomjon Tukhtasinov discussed UzSWLU's activities, accompanied by a video presentation.

The activities of Magdeburg-Stendal University were then introduced. Professor Karsten Behrend explained the university's structure and educational system, presenting science modules through a detailed presentation.

During the meeting, both parties presented their proposals for cooperation. The Erasmus agreement was signed between the two universities, allowing UzSWLU professors and teachers to improve their skills starting in the fall of 2024. Additionally, students from UzSWLU's Translation Faculty will have the opportunity to study at Magdeburg-Stendal University for one semester on a grant basis.

Following the agreements, Rector Ilkhomjon Tukhtasinov participated in classes at Magdeburg-Stendal University and engaged in a lively conversation with the students.
