2026-10-31 10-21 UZSWLU RECTOR VISITS STUDENT DORMITORY IN UCHTEPA DISTRICT
Rector of Uzbekistan State World Languages University I. Tukhtasinov, accompanied by O. Saidov, Major and Head of the Security Service under the Uchtepa District Department of Internal Affairs, and A. Mukhiddinov, Deputy Prosecutor of Uchtepa District, visited a student dormitory.
During the visit, a meeting was held with students, who received detailed information about the “Xavfsiz talaba” (“Safe Student”) mobile application. The app is designed to enhance student safety, prevent offences, and improve access to prompt assistance in emergency situations.
The participants were introduced to the application’s key features, how to use it, and its role in everyday life. The importance of taking personal responsibility for safety, remaining alert to potential risks, and contacting the relevant services promptly when necessary was also emphasised.
The visit formed an important part of ongoing efforts to ensure safe living conditions for students, strengthen their legal awareness, and improve the effectiveness of preventive measures related to safety.
