2026-07-15 02-56 UzSWLU Representatives Continue Their Visit to Spain within the Erasmus+ KA171 Project
The delegation of the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages (UzSWLU) continues its official visit under the Erasmus+ KA171 project by actively participating in an international seminar-training and experience-sharing program organized at the University of La Rioja (Universidad de La Rioja) in Logroño, Kingdom of Spain.
From July 13 to 17, 2026, the UzSWLU delegation, headed by Rector Ilkhomjon Tukhtasinov, is taking part in this international event organized within the framework of the Erasmus+ KA171 programme. During the visit, the participants are exploring best practices in higher education, exchanging views on expanding international cooperation, and promoting academic mobility.
On the second day of the seminar-training, Rector Ilkhomjon Tukhtasinov delivered a presentation on the university's activities and development strategy. The presentation provided detailed information on the university's bachelor's and master's degree programmes, joint educational programmes, doctoral studies and research activities, achievements in national and international rankings, cooperation with leading foreign higher education institutions, dual education programmes, student and academic staff exchanges implemented through Erasmus+ projects, as well as the proportion of international students and specialists at the university.
At the conclusion of the presentation, participants exchanged views on the university's priority areas for further strengthening international cooperation, enhancing research capacity, and improving the quality of education in accordance with international standards. The seminar participants highly appreciated UzSWLU's international activities and achievements within the Erasmus+ programme and expressed their interest in expanding future cooperation.
