UZSWLU REVIEWS EFFORTS TO ORGANIZE MEANINGFUL LEISURE ACTIVITIES IN STUDENT DORMITORIES

Today, Ilxomjon Tukhtasinov, Rector of Uzbekistan State World Languages University (UzSWLU), together with university management representatives and responsible staff members, visited the student dormitories to review ongoing efforts to organize meaningful leisure activities for students.

During the visits, particular attention was paid to the organization of competitions and contests under the “Five Initiatives Olympiad” in the student dormitories, as well as students’ participation in sports, music, arts, reading, and other activities. Discussions also covered ways to develop students’ interests and talents and to regularly organize various competitions and creative events.

The rector emphasized the importance of making effective use of students’ free time outside their academic studies, supporting their initiatives, and increasing their engagement in various fields. Relevant recommendations were provided to the responsible staff on enhancing educational and cultural activities and sports events in the student dormitories, as well as ensuring the systematic organization of competitions within the framework of the “Five Initiatives.”
