UzSWLU Reviews the 2025–2026 Academic Year Performance of the Faculty of English Philology No. 1
On July 6, Uzbekistan State World Languages University launched a series of annual reporting meetings dedicated to reviewing the activities of its faculties during the 2025–2026 academic year. The first report was presented by the Faculty of English Philology No. 1.
The meeting was chaired by the Rector of the university, Professor Ilkhomjon Tukhtasinov, and attended by the university’s vice-rectors, the administration of the Faculty of English Philology No. 1, heads of departments, and leaders of relevant structural divisions.
During the meeting, the faculty’s activities throughout the 2025–2026 academic year were comprehensively reviewed in the areas of teaching and methodology, scientific research, international cooperation, spiritual and educational initiatives, and organizational development. Detailed information was presented on achievements in improving the quality of education, implementing modern pedagogical approaches, enhancing the research capacity of academic staff, actively involving students in scientific and innovative activities, and expanding international cooperation.
The meeting also reviewed the implementation of the faculty’s target performance indicators, discussed existing challenges and measures taken to address them, and presented proposals and plans for the 2026–2027 academic year. These included further improving the quality of education, increasing the effectiveness of research activities, expanding international projects and academic partnerships, and advancing the faculty’s priority areas of development.
