UzSWLU Student Participated in an International Programme

Zilolakhon Komilova, a 4th-year student of the Political Science track at the Faculty of International Journalism of UzSWLU, successfully took part in the International Winter School programme “Known and Unknown Latin America,” held on 19–22 November 2025 at the Institute of Psychological and Economic Research (IPEI) in Saratov, Russian Federation.

She earned the right to participate in this programme through an international grant.

During the winter school, sessions were conducted on topics such as the political systems of Latin America, models of economic development, the region’s role in global processes, and contemporary geopolitical challenges. Participants had the opportunity to exchange views with leading researchers and experts, as well as to join practical seminars and discussions with students from different countries.

Zilolakhon Komilova’s participation in this international academic project contributed to the expansion of her academic interests, the acquisition of foreign experience, and the strengthening of our university’s international cooperation ties.
