UzSWLU Students Successfully Complete Academic Exchange Program in Germany
Students of the Faculty of Translation at the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages (UzSWLU) have successfully completed a one-semester academic exchange program at two prestigious German higher education institutions — SDI München and the Germersheim Campus of Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz.
Supported by the ERASMUS+ Programme, the Eberhard-Schöck-Stiftung, and the CARSI-SE Project, the students received scholarships and free accommodation throughout the program. During their studies, they gained up-to-date knowledge and practical experience in translation studies, linguistics, and intercultural communication.
The participants emphasized that studying in an international academic environment enabled them to further improve their foreign language proficiency, strengthen their professional competencies, and exchange experiences with peers from different countries. In addition, one of the students successfully obtained the internationally recognized Goethe-Zertifikat C1.
This partnership represents another significant step toward expanding international academic mobility at UzSWLU and preparing highly qualified translators and foreign language specialists.
