UzSWLU Students to Participate in International Summer Camp Program in China

A new international educational opportunity has been created for students within the framework of cooperation between the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages (UzSWLU) and Dalian University of Technology of the People’s Republic of China.

On July 11, a meeting was held with the faculty member and students traveling to China under the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the two higher education institutions on July 17, 2024. The Memorandum aims to develop cooperation in education, research activities, and academic exchange programs for faculty members and students.

For reference, an international summer camp program will be held at Dalian University of Technology from July 12 to 27, 2026. The program will be attended by 12 students of the Faculty of Oriental Philology of UzSWLU who are studying Chinese. The group will be accompanied by Chinese language instructor Ashurova Zulaykho as the group leader.

During the program, students will have the opportunity to improve their practical Chinese language skills, become familiar with modern educational methods, gain first-hand knowledge of Chinese history, culture, and traditions, and enhance their communication experience in an international environment.

This project plays an important role in expanding the university’s international partnerships, strengthening academic cooperation with foreign higher education institutions, and developing future joint educational and research initiatives.

During the meeting, UzSWLU Rector I. Tuxtasinov and Vice-Rector for International Cooperation A. Nasirov emphasized the importance of students strictly following safety regulations during their trip, representing Uzbekistan and the university with dignity, avoiding the influence of illegal groups and ideological movements, and focusing primarily on acquiring knowledge and developing professional skills.
