Visit of the Leaders of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University to UzSWLU

On November 26, leaders of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University visited the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages. The delegation included Chairman of the Board and Rector Janseit Kanseituly Tuymebayev and Director of the Department of International Cooperation Yesbol Umirjanov.

UzSWLU Rector I. Tukhtasinov, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation A. Nasirov, Head of the International Cooperation Department H. Yuldashev, and Director of the Center for Retraining and Professional Development of Teaching Staff D. Abduganieva held negotiations with the guests. Both sides emphasized that friendly relations are steadily developing and stressed the need to further strengthen cooperation in the field of education.

During the meeting, issues such as student and teacher exchanges, organization of joint professional development courses, co-supervision of doctoral research, creation of textbooks and teaching materials in co-authorship, and development of a sociolinguistic dictionary in Uzbek, Kazakh, and English were discussed. Future plans also include joint projects, seminars, and scientific conferences.
