2026-09-18 02-24 VISIT OF THE UzSWLU REPRESENTATIVE UNDER THE ERASMUS+ KA171 PROJECT CONTINUES
Otabek Yusupov, Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation at the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages (UzSWLU), is actively participating in an international research internship and experience-sharing programme organised at the University of Bucharest, Romania, as part of a business trip under the Erasmus+ KA171 project.
As part of the planned programme, visits have been organised to several universities in Bucharest, as well as to faculties and departments of the University of Bucharest. In particular, meetings were held with Professor Ioan Ursu, Director of the Horia Hulubei National Institute for Research and Development in Physics and Nuclear Engineering; Professor Virgil Baran, Director of the Doctoral School of the University of Bucharest; Anca Stoica, Head of the International Relations Department; Professor Axinia Casavschi, Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages; Professor Alexandra Nicolae, Dean of the Faculty of Philology; and other university officials.
The meetings focused on further expanding cooperation between the universities, developing student and faculty exchange programmes, implementing academic and research projects within the Erasmus+ programme, and supporting joint research initiatives.
During the visit, particular attention is being paid to identifying new areas of scientific cooperation, gaining international experience, and further strengthening UzSWLU’s relations with its international partner universities.
