Visit to the Writers’ Union of Uzbekistan

Teachers of the Department of General Linguistics of the Uzbekistan State World Languages University, along with members of the “I Am a Follower of Zulfiya” club, paid a visit to the Writers’ Union of Uzbekistan.

During the excursion, participants first became acquainted with the life and creative work of literary figures at the Writers’ Union Museum, followed by a poetry reading evening.

The club members were introduced to the literary journals Yoshlik, Sharq yulduzi, and Jahon adabiyoti, and plans were made to develop creative cooperation in the future.

Books published by the Writers’ Union of Uzbekistan were presented as gifts to the teachers of the Department of General Linguistics — F. Yuldasheva, M. Nosirova, S. Salokhiddinova, D. Kholiqova, I. Yoldosheva, and R. Gochchiyeva — as well as to all participating students.
