2026-06-27 08-06 Winners of the Chess Tournament Awarded at UzSWLU
The chess tournament organized at Uzbekistan State World Languages University in celebration of Youth Day has come to an end.
The competition brought together university faculty members, tutors, staff, students, and young people from the mahallas of Uchtepa District. The tournament was held in separate categories for boys and girls, with participants demonstrating outstanding intellectual abilities, logical thinking, and strategic gameplay.
Following a series of intense and highly competitive matches, the winners and prize-winners in each category were determined.
During the award ceremony, the Rector of Uzbekistan State World Languages University, Ilxomjon Tuxtasinov, and international grandmaster Nafisa Muminova ceremonially presented diplomas, sports medals, and valuable commemorative gifts to the winners and prize-winners.
At the conclusion of the event, participants warmly congratulated the winners and wished them continued success and outstanding achievements in future competitions.
