Winners of the “My Homeland” essay contest announced

As part of the implementation of item 18 of the action plan approved by Resolution No. 36 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated January 20, 2024, creative student trips under the slogan “Traveling Across the Homeland” were organized at Uzbekistan State World Languages University. Based on the outcomes of these trips, an essay contest on the theme “My Homeland” was held.

At the contest held on May 6, students submitted creative works that artistically expressed their impressions of the ancient history, culture, tangible and spiritual heritage, and development efforts of their homeland.

According to the results of the contest:
1st place – Shahina Olimova, daughter of Botirjon (student of the 2nd Faculty of English),
2nd place – Nilufar Bozorova, daughter of Shavkat (student of the Faculty of English Philology),
3rd place – Marjona Abdumannonova, daughter of Khusan (student of the 1st Faculty of English).

Winners of the university-level contest will be awarded honorary diplomas, commemorative gifts, and a one-time cash prize equal to one basic scholarship amount by the Rector of Uzbekistan State World Languages University.
