Winners of the “Rector’s Cup” Mini-Football Tournament Honored in a Ceremony

On April 16, 2025, a special awards ceremony was held at the Uzbek State World Languages University to honor the winners of the “Rector’s Cup” mini-football tournament. During the event, the teams that demonstrated high sportsmanship in the final stage were recognized in a festive atmosphere.

Rector Ilkhomjon Tukhtasinov of UzSWLU took part in the ceremony, expressing his gratitude to all participants and presenting certificates of appreciation to active students.

1st Place – Sports Club Team. The winning team members received modern tablets from the university.

2nd Place – English Language Faculty No. 2 Team
3rd Place – Translation Faculty Team
4th Place – English Philology Faculty Team

The teams that placed 2nd, 3rd, and 4th received valuable gifts.

Tablets and commemorative souvenirs were also presented to coaches and members of the organizing committee who actively contributed to the tournament’s success.

The event was also attended by leaders and representatives of the following organizations as honorary guests:

• Sports School No. 1, Uchtepa District, Tashkent

• Sports School No. 2, Uchtepa District, Tashkent

• Sports School of Chilanzar District, Tashkent

• Republican Center for Training in Olympic and Paralympic Sports

The tournament played an important role in promoting a healthy lifestyle, increasing interest in sports, and strengthening team spirit among university students.
