ZAKOVAT INTELLECTUAL QUIZ HELD UNDER THE THEME “WE ARE AGAINST DRUG ADDICTION!”

An intellectual quiz titled “We Are Against Drug Addiction!” was organized for students of the Faculty of Romance and Germanic Philology at Uzbekistan State World Languages University.

The event was conducted under the guidance of the faculty dean, A. Khalillayev; Deputy Dean for Youth Affairs, A. Mallayev; IPMBIB specialist, M. Abdurahmonova; Dean’s Adviser on Women’s Issues, N. Sabirova; and faculty tutors P. Jabborova, Z. Nazarova, and A. Bekmurzayeva.

The main objectives of the competition were to make students’ extracurricular free time more meaningful, enhance their intellectual potential and knowledge, develop teamwork skills, and raise young people’s awareness of the harmful consequences of drug addiction.

During the competition, participants demonstrated their knowledge and critical thinking skills by answering questions about the harmful effects of drug addiction on human health and society, healthy lifestyles, legal literacy, and the prevention of harmful habits.

Such intellectual competitions help young people use their free time productively, develop healthy life attitudes, foster a firm stance against harmful habits, and strengthen their sense of active citizenship.
