USWLU Staff and Graduates Participated in the Career Forum Organized by MDIS
On November 27, staff and graduates of the Uzbekistan State World Languages University participated in a Career Forum organized by the Singapore Management Development Institute (MDIS) in Tashkent.
During the visit, the delegation received a detailed overview of the activities of foreign and local universities, modern approaches in the educational process, student-friendly infrastructure, internship opportunities, and international educational programs. As part of the forum, presentations by university representatives provided students with extensive information on innovations in foreign education systems, student adaptation to the global labor market, and professional development opportunities.
This visit gave graduating students the chance to closely familiarize themselves with the international educational environment and obtain important information for planning their future professional careers.

Student Potential – The Foundation of the Future: USWLU Graduates Participate in “TalabaExpo – 2025”
On May 21, the second day of the “TalabaExpo – 2025” career exhibition provided young people with a wealth of useful information about the demands of the modern labor market, startup initiatives, and business idea promotion.
Graduating students of the Uzbekistan State World Languages University actively participated in seminars and meetings within the exhibition, striving to further enrich their knowledge and skills.
During the event, practical recommendations were given on launching startups, starting entrepreneurial activities, and effectively utilizing available resources. The provision of preferential loans to support innovative ideas became an additional incentive for interested graduates.
Motivational meetings with the founders of “TXT GROUP”, “SHUKRON CITY”, and “USTOZ MEDIA” generated great interest among participants. Entrepreneurs shared life lessons, key stages in business, and encouraged young people to be active and proactive.
“TalabaExpo – 2025” served as an important platform that not only provides knowledge but also instills confidence and inspiration in youth.



“TalabaExpo–2025” – A Confident Step Toward Career Choice!
From May 21 to 23, 2025, in Tashkent at the “Student Campus” area, the “TalabaExpo–2025” career exhibition became a major platform of opportunities for young people. Graduating students from the International Faculty of Journalism actively participated, showcasing their knowledge and skills, and engaging with representatives of various organizations.
More than 700 major local and international companies, as well as governmental and non-governmental organizations, took part in the event. They provided information on job vacancies, internship programs, professional development, and practical opportunities in various fields.
“TalabaExpo–2025” was not only a project guiding career choice but also a chance for young people to express themselves, interact directly with specialists, find answers to their questions, and make important decisions for their future professional activities.


A Roundtable Discussion Was Held at the Uzbekistan State World Languages University Within the “Step into the Future” Program
On November 13, a roundtable discussion with graduating students was organized at the Uzbekistan State World Languages University as part of the “Step into the Future” program.
The event was opened by the university rector Ilhomjon Tukhtadinov. Also participating was Elmurod Abdusattorovich Khoshimov, Director of the “Step into the Future” Center at O‘zmilliybank JSC.
During the roundtable, the following activities were held for students:
• Presentation of credit products and startup projects within O‘zmilliybank JSC, delivered by department head Bexruz Ostonov.
• Motivational business trainings and seminar-trainings for students, including career development, personal branding, soft skills, and joining professional networks, conducted by Dildora Ismoilova, head of Invest Book LLC.
• The event concluded with a Q&A session and an award ceremony.
Graduating students had the opportunity to showcase their startup ideas, research projects, and social initiatives. The main goal of the event was to support students in employment, entrepreneurship, and professional development while encouraging their creativity and initiative.



Prosecutor and Youth Meeting at Uzbekistan State World Languages University
On September 29, Deputy Prosecutor of Tashkent City, U. Mamarajabov, visited the Uzbekistan State World Languages University and held an open discussion with students on the topic “Prosecutor and Youth.”
The meeting was opened by the university’s First Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs and Spiritual-Educational Work, Sadiyev Valijon Alijonovich.
During the event, students received detailed information aimed at improving their legal knowledge, raising awareness of legal violations, and informing them about opportunities available to youth.
Additionally, students who were recognized as winners of the “Step into the Future” project PQ-61 by O‘zmilliybank JSC were ceremoniously awarded certificates.
