Department of Practical Translation of English

On August 26, 2021, according to the decision of the University Council, the English language was separated from the Department of translation theory and practice and began to be referred to as the Department of “Applied translation of English”. From the academic year 2021-2022 bakhtiyarov mukhtorjon yakubovich began to act as the head of the Department. Currently, the department has 31 faculty members (24 core, 7 chair, including 5 candidates of science (phd), 2 v.b. associate professor 5 senior teachers, 6 teachers).

On March 5, 2024, the Department v.b. Associate Professor, phd e.t.tursunnazarova returned to the Turkish State University of ege by organizing a seminar as part of a scientific research topic and exchanging experience. During the meeting, the university professors and students discussed the issues of studying on the basis of exchange programs, improving qualifications, conducting scientific research, creating opportunities for university scientific work, use of the library. At the end, a cooperation agreement was signed between özdjtu and Ege University.
