A Meeting Was Held with Students Involved in Qualification and Pedagogical Practice at the Mother-and-Child Room

At the Uzbekistan State World Languages University, a meeting was held with second- and third-year students involved in qualification and pedagogical practice conducted under the 4+2 program at the university’s Mother-and-Child Room. The meeting was organized under the leadership of the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, M. Chutpulatov.

 

 

The meeting was attended by the Rector’s Advisor on Women’s Issues, F. Ashurova, the university psychologist Z. Khayrullayeva, supervisors of qualification and pedagogical practice, and students.

During the meeting, special emphasis was placed on the opportunities provided by the Mother-and-Child Room operating at the university, as well as on the favorable conditions created for students with children. In particular, the importance of providing practical support to student parents was highlighted, enabling them to continue their education without interruption while caring for their children and receiving quality education.

It was also explained that, in accordance with the current curriculum, qualification and pedagogical practices in the field of Foreign Language and Literature are organized based on the 4+2 academic schedule. According to this schedule, students assigned to the Mother-and-Child Room attend academic classes four days a week and participate in pedagogical practice for two days.

 

 

As emphasized, this system is intended to develop students’ skills in working with children, apply pedagogical and psychological knowledge in practice, and strengthen their professional competencies through real-life situations.

At the end of the meeting, responsible officials provided comprehensive answers to students’ questions and gave clear explanations regarding key aspects of the practice process.
