On May 27, a representative of Indiana University of the USA visited UzSWLU.

As part of the visit, Gulnisa Nazarova, head of the Department of Central Asian Studies of Indiana University, and I.M., rector of UzSWLU. A meeting was organized with the participation of Tukhtasinov, Head of International Relations Department H. Yuldashev, Head of General Linguistics Department R. Madjidova, Professor of General Linguistics Department H. Mukhitdinovalar

At the meeting, cooperation with the Indiana University Center for Central Asian Studies on teaching the Uzbek language and literature, the creation of a database of educational literature, manuals, and electronic resources, the opening and support of the Uzbek language center, assistance in the establishment of cooperation with universities in the USA where the Uzbek language is taught, Indiana University and organizing summer schools for students of UzSWLU and cooperation in other areas were discussed.
