A Roundtable Discussion on “Mechanisms for Preventing Domestic Violence” Was Held

A roundtable discussion on the topic “Mechanisms for Preventing Domestic Violence” was held at the Faculty of Oriental Philology with the participation of F. Habiyeva, Head of IPMBIB, department psychologist Sh. Bo‘stonova, department specialist M. Yo‘ldosheva, and the university prevention inspector M. Nurmuhamedova.

The event was attended by students, faculty members, and specialists. During the discussion, participants examined in detail the causes of domestic violence, its negative consequences, and effective psychological and social mechanisms for its prevention.

Particular attention during the roundtable was given to the following issues:
– skills for setting and protecting personal boundaries
– constructive methods of conflict resolution
– ways to manage stress and emotional tension

In addition, participants were provided with practical recommendations based on real-life situations. Special emphasis was placed on improving their legal awareness and strengthening psychological protection mechanisms.
