A seminar-training on the topic “Journals in the Scopus database and the procedures for publishing articles in them” was held at the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages

The event was attended by university professors, researchers, and doctoral students.

The seminar-training was opened by the Vice-Rector for Scientific Work and Innovations, O. Yusupov, who delivered the opening speech.

During the event, the following issues were discussed:

• Publishing an article in the Wacana scientific journal in the Scopus database in Indonesia as part of the visit to Malaysia and Indonesia under the leadership of the university rector;

• Journals in the Scopus database and the procedures for publishing articles in them;

• Protection from journals with fake or duplicate (cloned) websites and identifying journals with high scientific indicators, as well as the procedure for publishing articles in such journals.

At the end of the seminar-training, professors and researchers were able to get answers to the questions they were interested in.
