Today, Guli Ergasheva was appointed as the dean of the First Faculty of English at the Uzbekistan State World Languages University.

Guli Ergasheva was born in 1980. She is an Associate Professor.

She completed her Bachelor's degree at the Andijan State Institute of Foreign Languages in 2000 and her Master's degree at the National University of Uzbekistan in 2002.

Guli Ergasheva's Career:

2002-2005: PhD student at the National University of Uzbekistan.
2006-2015: Teacher at the Department of English Linguistics and Translation Theory at the National University of Uzbekistan.
2015-2018: Doctoral student at the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages. She improved her qualifications at the London Metropolitan University (2017); the American Association of Applied Linguistics (2019, 2022, 2023); and Saint Petersburg State University (2023).
2019-2021: Associate Professor at the Department of Theoretical English Language at the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages.
2021-2022: Acting Professor at the Department of English Teaching Methodology and Educational Technologies at the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages.
2022-2023: Deputy Dean of the Faculty of English Philology at the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages.
2023-2025: Dean of the Faculty of English Philology at the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages.
2025 (currently): Dean of the First Faculty of English at the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages.
