On November 22, 2024, the Rector of the Uzbek State University of World Languages, I. Tuxtasinov, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, M. Chutpulatov, department heads, and students visited School No. 278 located in the Olmazor district of Tashkent city.
During the visit, several tasks and future plans were agreed upon regarding the organization of academic, scientific, and cultural-educational activities, as well as student internships, in collaboration between the Uzbek State University of World Languages and School No. 278 in the Olmazor district of Tashkent city.
A cooperation agreement was signed by the University Rector I. Tuxtasinov and the Principal of School No. 278, G. Akbarova, and an action plan was approved.
At the end of the visit, the university's Rector, I. Tuxtasinov, held a meeting with graduating students and talented youth from the school. Graduates were invited to apply to the university.
According to the approved action plan, the following activities are planned to support School No. 278 in terms of educational and methodological assistance:
Collaboration between experienced professors and teachers of the Uzbek State University of World Languages and school teachers;
Establishing a language center at the school;
Organizing language clubs and courses, as well as competitions and Olympiads in foreign languages for school students;
Providing the school library with dictionaries, educational resources aimed at developing knowledge and skills, and a variety of foreign literature, including artistic, fairy tale, story, and poetry books in foreign languages;
Conducting master classes and subject Olympiads in foreign languages at the school;
Supporting students from socially vulnerable families among the graduating classes by preparing them for entrance exams in English, French, and German languages.
