Cooperation Between General Education Schools and UzSWLU Continues Consistently

On January 24, another extracurricular English language class was held at Secondary School No. 104, located in the Sergeli district of Tashkent.

The session was organized by Gulmira Juraboyeva, a lecturer at the Department of English Language Teaching Methodology No. 1 of the First Faculty of English at Uzbekistan State World Languages University.

During the lesson:

• students’ homework was checked;

• warm-up activities were conducted;

• a short text was read and analyzed;

• new words and expressions from the text were taught;

• question-and-answer activities were organized based on the topic.

One of the key aspects of the session was introducing students to the “storytelling” method and conducting practical exercises in this area. In addition, various interactive games and modern pedagogical methods were applied.

At the end of the session, an increase in students’ ability to express their thoughts in English was noted, along with positive progress in text analysis and coherent storytelling skills.
