On February 14, a preventive event was organized at the Second English Language Faculty of the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages to protect young people from cybercrime.

The event was opened by the dean of the faculty, Bahrom Qulmatov.

The guest of the event, Senior Inspector of the Department for Combating Cybercrime of the Tashkent City Police Department, Senior Lieutenant S. A. Khudoyqulov, provided participants with information on cybersecurity and explained methods to combat cybercrime.

Additionally, officers responsible for combating cybercrime in the field of information technology at the Tashkent City Police Department – Lieutenant B. Karimov, J. Panjiyev, and the university’s preventive inspector, Captain Sh. N. Bekmetov – gave recommendations to tutors and teachers on monitoring students' activities and protecting them from cyber threats.
