“Heirs of Amir Temur” Military-Sports Competition Held at UzSWLU

On March 30, the university stage of the “Heirs of Amir Temur” military-sports review competition among students was held at the sports ground of Uzbekistan State World Languages University.

A total of 45 students достойно represented the honor of their faculties in the competition. The participants competed in such events as the standing long jump, 100-meter race, pull-ups on the horizontal bar, and grenade throwing.

According to the results of the competition:

1st place — Faculty of International Journalism
2nd place — Faculty of Romance-Germanic Philology
3rd place — Faculty of Oriental Philology

In addition, the athletes who demonstrated the best results were selected, and the university national team was formed. They have now begun preparations for the regional stage of the competition.
