On November 6, an online meeting was held between representatives of the administration of O‘zDJTU University and the leaders of Iran's Allameh Tabataba’i University.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Shaja Ahmadvand, the President of Allameh Tabataba’i University, Dr. Ilyasi, Iran's curator for scientific cooperation with Uzbekistan, and other university representatives. From O‘zDJTU, Rector I. Tukhtasinov, Head of the International Cooperation Department X. Yuldashev, Head of the Second Foreign Language Department A. Yuldashev, and others participated.

The following issues were discussed during the meeting:

 Establishing a student exchange program;  Organizing training courses for Persian language teachers;  Inviting native Persian language teachers to O‘zDJTU;  Obtaining textbooks and educational materials for Persian language and creating new textbooks in co-authorship;  Establishing cooperation in the fields of journalism and tourism;  Collaborating in the scientific field and organizing internship programs for young researchers;  Organizing internships and practical training at the Faculty of Russian Philology for students from the Russian language group of Allameh Tabataba’i University;

 Organizing summer schools;  Other issues of mutual interest.
