Online Seminar on “The History of Simultaneous Interpretation” Held within the Framework of the “Important 90 Days” Project

As part of the “Important 90 Days” initiative, the Faculty of Translation and the Department of English Translation Theory at the Uzbekistan State World Languages University organized another online seminar session.

 

 

 

The seminar, titled “The History of Simultaneous Interpretation,” was conducted by senior lecturer Farida Ne’matova, who provided participants with detailed information about the emergence of simultaneous interpreting, its stages of development, and important aspects of its practical application.

The seminar was held in an interactive format, with students actively participating by asking questions of interest and receiving informative responses. Theoretical knowledge on simultaneous interpretation was effectively integrated with practical examples during the session.

The event sparked great interest among participants and motivated them to further deepen their knowledge in the field of translation.
