Uzbekistan State World Languages University and Université Sorbonne Paris Nord: A New Stage of Cooperation!

On March 11, the Rector of the Uzbek State World Languages University (UzSWLU), Ilhomjon Tukhtasinov, visited Université Sorbonne Paris Nord (USPN). During the visit, the university's president, Mr. Arnaud Regnauld, welcomed the rector, and discussions were held on the practical development of the cooperation memorandum.

 During the visit, Ilhomjon Tukhtasinov focused on the following areas:

- Familiarized himself with the scientific and academic activities of Université Sorbonne Paris Nord;
- Studied the university’s infrastructure, educational conditions, and opportunities available for students;
- Met with French professors to exchange views on teaching methodologies for a deeper understanding of the educational process;
- Reached an agreement on developing clear mechanisms to simplify academic exchange programs for UzSWLU and USPN students;
- Discussed expanding collaboration on joint scientific projects, international conferences, and publications.

During the negotiations, Ilhomjon Tukhtasinov emphasized that cooperation between UzSWLU and USPN should not be limited to academic exchange alone but should also develop through scientific research, faculty training, joint educational programs, and cultural collaboration.

The leadership of Université Sorbonne Paris Nord expressed their satisfaction with the partnership with UzSWLU and confirmed their readiness to further expand joint programs in the future.
