Closing Ceremony of the Republic Round of the Foreign Languages Olympiad
The Uzbekistan State University of World Languages hosted the closing ceremony of the Republic Round of the Foreign Languages Olympiad, organized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation.
At the event, Sherzod Ashirovich Rasulov, Head of the Department of Work with Gifted Students at the Center for Higher Education Research, delivered a speech on the significance of the Olympiad in the education system and its role in developing the talents of young people.
Following this, Ilkhomjon Tuxtasinov, the Rector of Uzbekistan State University of World Languages, congratulated the participants and emphasized:
“The Foreign Languages Olympiad among higher education institutions united 126 students from 43 universities. They showcased their knowledge and talents in English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Korean, Chinese, Japanese, and Arabic. Each participant was able to demonstrate their language proficiency, logical thinking ability, and creative approach.”
The rector also congratulated the winners of the Olympiad and highly appreciated their efforts:
“Today's victory is not just an end, but the beginning of a new journey that will open up new horizons. Other participants are also winners because you have tested yourselves and gained new experiences.”

The event concluded with an awards ceremony:
• 1st place winners were awarded modern laptops,
• 2nd place winners received televisions,
• 3rd place winners were awarded tablets.
