Department of translation of Romano-Germanic languages
The department of theory and practice of translation was established in accordance with the decision of the Council of Uzdjtu dated August 29, 2019.
From September 2, 2020, Kholiyarov Lutfulla Tashkuvatovich began to act as the head of the Department. From the academic year 2021-2022, the Arabic direction was separated from the department at alokhi, and the department began to be called the Department of Translation of Roman-Germanic languages.
Currently, the department has 28 professors and teachers (20 of them are basic and 8 of them are substitutes, including 2 candidates of philological Sciences. associate professor, 6 senior teachers, 11 teachers) in the Department in the academic year 2022-2023, 102 scientific articles (in foreign journals – 40; in domestic journals-6), 3 textbooks were published. In the academic year 2021-2023, a departmental discussion of 3 dissertations was held. 2 independent researchers registered with the University are attached to the Department.

This department carried out theoretical and practical activities related to translation issues and carried out tasks related to translation skills and translation skills.
Leading professors and teachers worked in the Department. They Are: L.T. Kholiyarov, G. Rakhimova, M.V.Dadamirzaeva, V.A.Arexin-Rijina, Z.N.Gazieva, operating and adding their own merits to the development of the Department's activities.
In the academic years 2019-2023, teaching aids were created by professors and teachers of the Department. Including: F.F.n., dosent s.K.Khajiev's teaching manual on applied foreign language subjects for students of the master's degree, “Le francais”, m.V.Written translation of dadamirzaeva", L.T. Kholiyarov's training manual, "Deutsch mit Spass", was prepared and published.
