On February 18, an online meeting was held with Simone Tiemme, an associate professor at the University of Campinas in Brazil.

During the meeting, discussions were held regarding the organization of the educational process for the new academic year, starting in September, when a Brazilian specialist will visit UzSWLU to teach Portuguese. Topics included the development of curricula and programs, as well as the methodological support of the lessons.

Additionally, cooperation in training specialists in the Portuguese language was discussed. In particular, the possibility of an UzSWLU Spanish language instructor attending specialized Portuguese courses at the University of Campinas and obtaining certification was reviewed.

The meeting was attended by UzSWLU Rector I. Tuxtasinov, Head of the International Cooperation Department X. Yuldashev, Dean of the Faculty of Romance-Germanic Philology X. Hakimov, and Head of the Spanish Language Department D. Bakhranova, who exchanged views on the organizational and methodological aspects of the collaboration.
