An Online Working Meeting Held Between Liaodong University and Uzbekistan State World Languages University
On January 21, an online working meeting was held between Liaodong University and Uzbekistan State World Languages University. The meeting aimed to clarify details of cooperation, accelerate the implementation of joint projects, and further strengthen ties between the two higher education institutions. The meeting was organized from the video conference room of the Wencui Building at Liaodong University.
From Uzbekistan State World Languages University, the online meeting was attended by Vice-Rector for International Cooperation A. Nasirov, Head of the International Relations Department X. Yuldashev, Head of the Joint Education (Double Degree) Programs Department F. Rashidova, Deputy Director of the Joint Education Program Sh. Tursunova, Chinese language instructors Sh. Khakimova, J. Abdulhakimov, and Liu Xuemei, as well as International Coordinator of the Joint Education Program Z. Sadullaeva.
From Liaodong University, participants included Vice President Quan Jinji, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of International Education Yu Yan, Dean of the School of International Education Xu Tong, Dean of the School of Tourism and Culture Bai Yijuan, Vice Deans of the School of International Education Jin Li and Sun Yipeng, as well as faculty members Wang Chunyan and Zhang Ying.
During the meeting, cooperation issues related to the 2026 Summer Camp Program were discussed, including agreement on the program schedule, the number of students to be sent, cost arrangements, and matters related to admission and information exchange.
In addition, within the framework of the “2+2” joint education project, issues concerning admissions and curriculum coordination for the programs “Chinese Language + Business Administration” and “Chinese Language + Tourism Management” were reviewed. The proposal to organize free online intensive HSK courses for students preparing to participate in the “2+2” project was also a key topic of discussion.
Furthermore, the participants exchanged views in detail on the possibility of establishing an HSK examination center, the resources required, and organizational issues related to its implementation. At the conclusion of the meeting, other cooperation matters were discussed, including a proposal by Uzbekistan State World Languages University to recommend Muslim chefs to Liaodong University in order to create more comfortable conditions for Uzbek students.
The meeting concluded with a question-and-answer session and an exchange of proposals, with both sides agreeing to continue developing cooperation in a consistent and constructive manner.
