Another Master Class within the Framework of International Cooperation
At the Faculty of Translation Studies, Department of English Translation Theory, another prestigious event was organized with the aim of strengthening international cooperation and introducing modern educational methodologies.
At the initiative of the Head of the Department, PhD, Associate Professor E.T. Tursunnazarova, and the department lecturer and Chief Specialist of the International Department for the Asian direction, D. Khodjabekova, a master class entitled “Student-based Education Method” was delivered by Steve King, Head of Educational Reform for Europe, Central Asia, and the Americas, and a representative of the Partnership Education Programs of the University of Cambridge within Cambridge University Press & Assessment.
During the master class, practical recommendations and training sessions were presented on the following topics:

student-centered learning approach;

interactive and innovative pedagogical technologies;

problem-based learning (PBL);
-
group work and project-based methods;
-
effective use of digital tools.
The event was actively attended by faculty members, doctoral students, master’s students, and young researchers, who took part in international experience exchange, question-and-answer sessions, and discussions.
As a result of the seminar:

new ideas were developed for integrating modern teaching methods into the educational process;

prospects for international cooperation were expanded;

future joint seminars and training sessions were planned.
This master class became an important step toward enhancing the quality of education and pedagogical excellence at our university.
