Matyakubov Alisher Djumanazarovich was appointed as the dean of the Faculty of International Journalism at the Uzbekistan State World Languages University, starting February 1st.

Matyakubov Alisher was born in 1983. He holds a PhD in Philology.

• 2007-2010: Head of the Electronic Governance Potential Center at the Association of Information Technology Enterprises and Organizations of Uzbekistan.
• 2010-2011: Researcher at the Faculty of Journalism at Saint Petersburg State University.
• 2013-2015: Deputy Dean at the Faculty of International Journalism at the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages.
• 2015-2018: Dean of the Faculty of International Journalism at the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages.
• 2018-2021: Vice-Rector for Educational and Developmental Affairs at the University of Journalism and Mass Communications of Uzbekistan.
• 2023-2023: Head of the Master's Department at the International School of Finance, Technology, and Science.
