Delegation of the Uzbekistan State World Languages University Familiarizes Itself with the Activities of Ingla International School Baku
On February 5, a delegation of the Uzbekistan State World Languages University paid a visit to Ingla International School Baku, located in Baku, Republic of Azerbaijan, as well as the Ingla International Education and Youth Training Center, and became closely acquainted with their activities.
During the meeting, detailed information was provided on the activities of these educational institutions, their cooperation with leading higher education institutions at the international level, as well as projects organized for young people, including conferences and “Career Days.” In the course of discussions with the management of Ingla International School Baku, prospective plans in the field of education and issues of mutual cooperation were discussed.
Comprehensive information was also presented on the educational programs of the Uzbekistan State World Languages University, its material and technical base, and international cooperation opportunities. In particular, it was noted that the university has 11 faculties and 48 departments, and offers instruction in 22 foreign languages, including European and Eastern languages. Special emphasis was placed on the fact that starting from the 2025–2026 academic year, the Azerbaijani language has been introduced into the curriculum.
According to available data, the Uzbekistan State World Languages University currently maintains cooperation with 132 higher education institutions in 39 countries around the world. The university is equipped with modern classrooms, advanced technology-enabled lecture halls, modern libraries, and comfortable student dormitories. Separate dormitories are allocated for international students, and approximately 300 foreign students are currently studying at the university.
It was also noted that 87 foreign professors and instructors — native speakers — conduct classes in 22 foreign languages. The university’s positions in international rankings were also highlighted. In particular:

These indicators clearly demonstrate the high quality of education at the Uzbekistan State World Languages University and the effectiveness of the opportunities created for young people.
It was further emphasized that the university has established cooperation with leading higher education institutions in the United States, the United Kingdom, France, the Republic of Korea, China, Japan, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Azerbaijan, as well as with reputable international organizations such as the British Council, KOICA, JICA, TIKA, and the Goethe Institute.
Within the framework of the meeting, bilateral negotiations were held between the parties, and agreements were reached on admitting graduates of Ingla International School Baku to the Uzbekistan State World Languages University. Based on these agreements, the parties unanimously decided to sign a cooperation agreement and develop a roadmap.
At the conclusion of the meeting, agreements on future cooperation with Ingla International School Baku were further strengthened. In particular, an agreement was reached to attract Azerbaijani youth to study at the academic lyceum, bachelor’s, master’s, doctoral, and independent research programs of the Uzbekistan State World Languages University.
This meeting, organized at the initiative of the management of Ingla International School Baku, demonstrates the growing international reputation of the Uzbekistan State World Languages University and contributes to further strengthening cooperation between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan in the fields of education, culture, and literature.
